"Crew 713" explores the lives of a B-24 Liberator Crew flying heavy bombing missions over Occupied Europe and Nazi Germany during 1944. Where they came from. How they came together. Where they trained. Their missions. And what happened to them after the end of the War.
The story is being told in a variety of ways. Through interviews with surviving members of the 492nd Bomb Group. Through the remembrances of the war diaries of 3 men who were members of Crew 713...

Through the letters that were written and the photos that were taken. The story is also being told through graphical re-enactments via computer generated imagery.
In addition, the story is being interspersed from time to time with short vignettes- call them "Stories from the 492nd Bomb Group". These short stories are not about the O'Sullivan Crew 713, but relate the fate which befell some of their fellow crews on those same perilous missions. Particular attention is being paid to the 3 devastating missions that the 492nd flew...
